Vision impaired pedestrians are subject to a wide range of possible dangers and inconveniences. Tactiles are a special
flooring tile with a very significant raised profile, conforming with all requirements of AS1428 and designed
to provide the vision impaired with warning of impending hazards or give directional guidance.

Applications
Any pedestrian locations where safety of the vision impaired is of concern including :
- Stairways, landings, escalators and ramps
- Pram crossings, pedestrian refuges, kerbs and footpaths.
- Bus stops, railway and ferry platforms
- All areas as required by the building code of Australia and as detailed
in AS 1428.4 and AS/NZS 1428.1
